Domaine Les Lunières
houses a typical Mas de Provence located approximately 2 kms from the village of Puimoisson in the Alpes de Haute Provence.
Domaine les Lunières is a large estate with extensive gardens on a hill facing south and offers
private areas where one can relax and enjoy the beauty and silence. Behind and above
the property is the plateau de Valensole, a large plain of
lavender fields with breathtaking views of the Alps. One has the impression the lavender fields unfold to eternity.
The estate has two buildings with the main house offering three luxurious guest rooms, Figalou, Wysteria & Ciel each with private bath and seating area. Ciel has it’s own roof top terrace. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished in an eclectic style.
A buffet breakfast is served in the outdoor dining room and guests may enjoy their breakfast at several tables located throughout the property. The area offers a variety of excellent restaurants of all price ranges. Guests are also welcome to cook their own evening meal in the outdoor kitchen should they wish to spend a relaxing evening on the property.
In addition to the main house a self catering two-bedroom cottage located 80 meters from the main house is available for rental on a weekly basis.
The proprietor, having worked in the international arena his entire career, attracts a clientele of interesting and culturally diverse
backgrounds seeking a unique experience in an exceptional surrounding
with easy access to numerous attractions and activities.
The area is one of the most beautiful in France in the heart of the Provence. A mere 15kms from the famous village of Moustiers Ste. Marie, the Lac Ste. Croix and Gorges du Verdon, visitors are never without options for a variety of experiences nearby including visits to local markets, villages and of course the outstanding food & wine this unique area of France has to offer.
